FairOdds Terminal Alternative: Features and Price (2026)

Looking for a FairOdds Terminal alternative? FairOdds vs Pinnacle Terminal on dated public facts: drop filters, limits, alerts, fair price, CLV, price and trial.

FairOdds Terminal is the cheaper Pinnacle dropping odds screen; Pinnacle Terminal is the one that grades each move and sends it to Telegram. FairOdds costs €24.90 a month after a 14-day trial and shows every Pinnacle drop on screen, filtered by drop size, with a no-vig price and Kelly stake. Pinnacle Terminal costs €89 a month and grades every pre-match move 0–10 with a label (Big move, Sharp drop, Limit-backed and others), shows live in-play football drops filtered by match context, and alerts you in your own Telegram bot.

Both tools watch the same book and rest on the same idea: when Pinnacle cuts a price, slower bookmakers often still pay the old one, and a bookmaker price above Pinnacle's no-vig price is a value bet. They differ in how they decide which drops to show you, how the alert reaches you, and what they cost. This page compares them on facts from FairOdds Terminal's own website and on what we know about our product.

Disclosure: this is the Pinnacle Terminal blog. Facts about FairOdds Terminal come from fairoddsterminal.com (home page and FAQ, Pinnacle Dropping Odds Tool page, its Pinnacle Odds Dropper alternative page, its alert-filter guide and manual, its quick start guide, About and Coaching pages, and the changelog on its home page), all read on 30 October 2026. Definition. FairOdds Terminal is a browser-based betting terminal built around a live feed of Pinnacle dropping odds. Each drop shows the old and new price and Pinnacle's no-vig price (NVP). The same subscription includes a +EV scanner across other bookmakers, arbitrage and middle bets, a no-vig calculator on a hotkey, Kelly staking, watchlists, a bet tracker, a public leaderboard and a live chat.

What does FairOdds Terminal offer?

On 30/10/2026 FairOdds Terminal's site described:

  • Pinnacle dropping odds "updated 7 times per second", with "<1s" latency and "200+ leagues". These are the vendor's figures; we have not measured them.
  • NVP on every drop, the price your bookmaker has to beat.
  • A +EV tool across other bookmakers ("200+ sportsbooks" on the home page; its Pinnacle Odds Dropper comparison page gives both "200+ bookmakers" and "60+ bookmaker coverage"), plus arbitrage and middle bets. Since version 1.2.0 (21/12/2025) it also lists EV bets at exchanges such as Betfair, Smarkets, Matchbook, Novig, Kalshi and ProphetX.
  • Staking: bankroll, risk profile and Kelly divider; the terminal suggests a stake for each bet.
  • Hotkeys: for example F to open the calculator.
  • Watchlists for the leagues your bookmaker covers.
  • A bet tracker with results over time, ROI, CLV and splits by sportsbook, sport and bet type, with export.
  • Community: a public leaderboard ranked by units won at flat stakes, and a live chat with channels and DMs.
  • Coaching: a 1-on-1 session at €135 an hour, in English or Finnish.

How FairOdds filters drops

From its alert-filter guide and manual:

  • Drop age (time interval): the window the system compares prices across. The default is 1 minute.
  • Minimum drop %: its manual suggests starting at 5%, and around 10% for inefficient, low-limit markets.
  • Pinnacle max bet: its manual suggests a minimum of $1,000+ "to filter out unreliable markets".
  • Sport, league, market and time before start, plus odds range, a Δ% slider from 0% to 20%, saved filters and sound effects.
  • Sports listed: American football, baseball, basketball, cricket, esports, handball, hockey, MMA, soccer, tennis and volleyball.

Drops appear in the terminal with a sound. The pages we read do not describe Telegram or mobile push alerts: its POD comparison page lists push notifications as a reason to choose POD, and its community chat is built into the terminal rather than run on Telegram. Its About page lists live markets as a future "premium add-on".

Why look for a FairOdds Terminal alternative?

FairOdds is cheap and fast to set up, and for many bettors it is enough. People look elsewhere for four reasons, all from its own pages:

  • You have to watch the screen. Alerts are on screen with a sound. If you are away from the desk, you miss the drop.
  • A drop is a percentage. The filters decide which drops to show by size, age, odds and max bet. Nothing tells you whether Pinnacle closed the market or raised the limit behind the move.
  • Live markets are not in the drop feed yet. Its About page puts live on the roadmap.
  • You want a separate view for basketball lines. Spread and total jumps in basketball are a different signal from a moneyline drop.

When is FairOdds Terminal the better choice?

  • Price matters most. €24.90 a month is the lowest paid price we have found for a Pinnacle drop screen, and the trial is twice as long as ours.
  • You sit at the screen when you bet. Hotkeys, an on-screen calculator and a sound alert are built for that.
  • You want a +EV and arbitrage scanner in the same subscription.
  • You want a community. The leaderboard and chat are part of the product.

When is Pinnacle Terminal the better choice?

  • You want each move graded, not only measured. Every pre-match move gets a 0–10 grade and a label: Big move (the odds dropped and Pinnacle closed the market), Sharp drop (about 20% or more below the recent high), Limit-backed (the odds dropped and Pinnacle raised the limit, a very confident move), Downtrend, Rebound (the odds returning towards the opener) and Standard. See understanding move grades.
  • You are not always at the desk. Alerts go to a private Telegram bot with your own filters; see Telegram alerts.
  • You bet live football. Live in-play drops are shown as they happen, filtered by goal and score context. They are not graded.
  • You bet basketball lines. The Basketball lines tab alerts you when a main spread or total moves 3 or more points in under 2 minutes, with a lock icon when Pinnacle has moved the line but does not offer the market yet.
  • You want to choose the devig method. Four methods plus worst case, Power by default; try them in the devig calculator.

A real example: what a max-bet filter hides

From Pinnacle Terminal on 28 October 2026, Madrid time (CET). ITF Men Norman, first round, Sean Daryabeigi v Luciano Emanuel Ambrogi, handicap Daryabeigi −1.5.

  • From 07:36 the price fell from 3.38 to 2.84 and Pinnacle locked the market. The terminal labelled it Big move.
  • By 09:37 the side panel read "Down 45% from its 07:36 high (41 changes) · limit $50 → $150".
  • At 09:37:37 the line was 2.24, with a fair price of 2.437, on a $150 limit.

With the $1,000+ minimum max bet that FairOdds' manual suggests, this market would not have appeared at all: the limit was $50, then $150. That is a reasonable default, because low-limit markets move on small money. But here the label carried information the limit alone did not: Pinnacle closed the market during the fall, and raised the limit only once it was comfortable with the new number. Any bookmaker paying more than 2.437 at 09:37 was above Pinnacle's fair line. Whether you bet a $150-limit market is your call; low-limit odds moves and Pinnacle closed markets explain the trade-off, and the odds drop calculator sizes any drop.

Is FairOdds Terminal worth it?

At €24.90 a month, it is the easiest fee to cover in this category. At an average edge of 3%, about €830 a month of turnover pays for it (24.90 ÷ 0.03). Pinnacle Terminal at €89 needs about €2,970. These are arithmetic, not forecasts. The better question is which tool leaves you with more bets you can actually place, at a price above fair, at your bookmakers. Measure that with closing line value over a few hundred bets. Other drop tools are compared in best dropping odds software and Pinnacle Odds Dropper alternatives.

How Pinnacle Terminal handles this

FairOdds puts every drop above your Δ% on screen with a sound; Pinnacle Terminal adds a judgement and a way to receive it away from the desk. Each pre-match move gets a 0–10 grade and one of six labels: Big move (odds dropped and Pinnacle closed the market), Sharp drop (about 20% or more below the recent high), Limit-backed (odds dropped and the limit went up), Downtrend, Rebound and Standard. The default measuring window is 2 minutes rather than FairOdds' 1, and you can change it. Live in-play football drops are already shown, filtered by match context and not graded, and a Basketball lines tab catches 3+ point jumps in a main spread or total within 2 minutes, with a lock icon when the market is not offered yet. Alerts reach a private Telegram bot with the filters each user sets. Every line carries a Power-devigged fair price, and the CLV tracker checks your logged bets against the close. It does not keep a line history and it does not take bets; it is not affiliated with Pinnacle. See Pinnacle dropping odds.

A one-week test

  1. Start both trials in the same week. FairOdds gives 14 days; ours charges nothing before day 8.
  2. Use the same sports and the same bookmakers in both.
  3. In FairOdds, set a minimum drop of 5% and a watchlist of your bookmaker's leagues. In Pinnacle Terminal, set a Telegram rule for Limit-backed, Sharp drop and Big move, filtered with the bookmaker league filter.
  4. Log every bet from each tool separately, with the fair price at the time.
  5. After seven days, compare CLV for each set with the CLV calculator, and count the drops you missed because you were away from the screen.
