Trademate Alternative – Value Betting

Looking for a Trademate Sports alternative? How a value-bet finder compares with a Pinnacle dropping-odds terminal, with dated plan facts and a test plan.

If you want a Trademate Sports alternative that is built around Pinnacle's price moves rather than a value-bet finder across 100+ bookmakers, a dropping-odds terminal such as Pinnacle Terminal is the closest fit: it streams Pinnacle's prices and limits, labels every move, and sends the ones that match your rules to Telegram.

Trademate Sports is a Norwegian value-betting platform. It compares bookmakers' prices with a fair estimate and lists the bets where a book is too generous, with tools for filtering, tracking and analysis on top. Pinnacle Terminal does something narrower. It shows you what Pinnacle, the market's sharpest reference, has just done, so you can bet the old price at a bookmaker that has not reacted. This article sets out when each approach fits.

Disclosure: this is the Pinnacle Terminal blog. Facts about Trademate come from tradematesports.com (home page with its plans section), read on 13 October 2026. Check their site before deciding.

What Trademate offers

On 13/10/2026 Trademate's home page listed three plans. Each came with seven free days, no card needed:

  • Trademate US, 49 per month: value bet finder for 10 US bookmakers, 4 sports, unlimited filters, real-time odds and alerts, odds comparison, performance tracking, email support.
  • Trademate Core, 120 per month: value bet finder for 100+ bookmakers, all 9 sports, the same tools plus priority support.
  • Trademate Pro, 400 per month: everything in Core plus sharp bookmakers and customisable "pro trading" algorithms.

The pricing page shows these figures with no currency symbol (checked 28 Oct 2026), so check the billing currency for your region before you compare.

The plan list also mentions in-play value bets, "constructive analysis & big data backtesting", custom trading presets and triggers, real-time notifications, variance simulation, courses and webinars. The company is TM Sports Technologies AS, based in Norway.

Value finder vs dropping-odds terminal

A value-bet finder computes a fair price for an outcome and checks every supported bookmaker against it. It gives you a list of bets with an estimated edge. It is only as good as its fair price and as wide as its bookmaker list.

A dropping-odds terminal watches the moment the fair price changes. Pinnacle takes large bets from winning players and runs a low margin, so when its price falls, the market has learned something. Slower books often still show the old price for a while. You see the move with its context: how far, how fast, whether the limit went up, whether the market was locked. Then you check your own book. See what dropping odds are and how to bet them for the full workflow.

They overlap more than they differ. A value finder will often flag the same bet a dropping-odds alert points to. The difference is what you see and how fast. When Trademate is the better choice

  • Your bookmakers are among its 100+ and you want the value list computed for you.
  • You want backtesting and analysis tools built into the same product.
  • You want courses and webinars alongside the software.
  • You prefer a trial without a card.

When a Pinnacle terminal is the better choice

  • You want to see the move, not only the edge. A value list says "this price is 5% too long". A labelled drop says how the market got there: on a rising limit, during a lock, or as a bounce back to the opener. Our move grade guide explains each label.
  • You bet esports, props or more than nine sports. The terminal covers 13 sports including CS2, LoL, Dota and Valorant, and player props.
  • You want Telegram alerts with your own filters, from a private bot, with the fair price kept current in the message.
  • You want one plan with every feature, rather than sharp-book access on a higher tier.
  • Your bookmaker is not on a scanner's list. A Pinnacle move is useful at any book that follows Pinnacle slowly.

Speed and screen time

Value finders and dropping-odds terminals ask for different kinds of attention. A value list is something you work through: open it, sort it, place the bets you can, refresh. It suits a session at a desk. A dropping-odds alert interrupts you: a move happens, the window before your bookmaker follows may be short, and you act or you let it go. It suits someone who can react on a phone during the day.

Neither is better. But the wrong match between tool and routine is the most common reason people stop using a tool they paid for. If you work through lists in the evening, a finder fits. If you would rather be told when something worth acting on happens, an alert feed fits, provided the filtering is strict enough that most alerts are ones you can actually bet.

The fair price question

Every value tool depends on its fair price. If the estimate is too generous, the edges on your list are smaller than they look. Ask any vendor how their fair price is built.

Pinnacle Terminal builds it from Pinnacle's full market, using four devig methods (multiplicative, additive, power and Shin) and a worst-case figure that takes the most conservative result. You can reproduce any figure with the devig calculator, and the devig methods guide explains when each method makes sense.

A worked example

The arithmetic, with round numbers: a three-way football market at Pinnacle moves so that the fair price of the home win is 2.15. Your bookmaker still offers 2.30. The modelled edge is 2.30 ÷ 2.15 − 1, about +7.0%. If the fair closing price is 2.12, your closing line value on the bet is about +8.5%. A value finder would show a similar edge figure. The terminal also tells you that the move came with a higher limit and a short lock, which is why it was worth acting on quickly.

How Pinnacle Terminal handles this

Pinnacle Terminal streams Pinnacle's prices and limits over WebSocket, with the current latency shown on screen. It does not take bets and is not affiliated with Pinnacle. Every pre-match move gets a label and a 0–10 grade. In-play alerts cover football only and skip moves explained by a recent goal or the score. Basketball main lines trigger an alert when they jump three or more points in under two minutes. Alerts reach a private Telegram bot with your filters, a league filter hides events your bookmaker does not list, and the tracker records CLV automatically.

Before you switch

Export your history. Your bet log is your evidence. Keep it, with closing prices if you have them.

Compare on one measure. Judge both tools by the average gap between your odds and the fair closing price, over the same period and the same bookmakers. Hit rate and short-term results mislead.

Expect limits either way. Soft bookmakers limit accounts that keep beating the closing price, whichever tool led them there.

A one-week test

  1. Start both trials in the same week.
  2. Filter both to your two or three main bookmakers.
  3. Log every bet separately by tool, with the odds you got.
  4. After seven days, compare each set with the closing prices.
  5. Note the time each tool took per session.

FAQ

Does Trademate have a free trial?

Its site listed a 7-day free trial on all plans, with no credit card required, on 13/10/2026.

Is Pinnacle Terminal a value-bet finder like Trademate?

It answers a different question. Trademate's list starts from the bookmaker's price ("this book is above fair"). Pinnacle Terminal starts from Pinnacle ("this line just dropped, with this label and grade") and its league filter hides events your bookmaker does not carry; whether your book still has the old price is something you check.

Which covers more sports?

On 13/10/2026 Trademate listed 9 sports on its Core plan. Pinnacle Terminal covers 13, including esports and player props.

Can I use both?

Yes. Log each tool's bets separately so the comparison stays clean. If you are also looking at a combined drops-and-EV product, see our ValueBetFactory alternative comparison.
