KeyOdds Alternative: Pinnacle Drops vs Money Way (2026)

Looking for a KeyOdds alternative? KeyOdds' scanners, Betfair money way and Pinnacle max-bet counts vs Pinnacle Terminal's graded moves, on dated facts.

The right KeyOdds alternative depends on which KeyOdds scanner you use. If you want Betfair money way, Fonbet "high volume bet" flags and scanner pages for many bookmakers on one pass, KeyOdds sells all of it from $3.99 an hour to $99.99 a month. If Pinnacle's own moves are your signal, Pinnacle Terminal (€89 a month) is built only for that: every pre-match move in 13 sports graded 0–10 and labelled, live in-play football drops, a Basketball lines tab and alerts in your own Telegram bot.

KeyOdds is a set of scanners: odds drops, money-way shifts and steam moves across exchanges and bookmakers, with Telegram and email alerts. Pinnacle Terminal is a single screen of Pinnacle prices and limits that tells you what kind of move each one is. This page compares the two on facts from KeyOdds' own website and on what we know about our product.

Definition. KeyOdds is a subscription service of live odds scanners. It tracks dropping odds, Betfair money way (matched volume per selection) and steam moves across exchanges and bookmakers, and sends alerts by Telegram or email. One subscription unlocks every scanner for a fixed period, with no auto-renewal.

What does KeyOdds offer?

On 30/10/2026 keyodds.com described:

  • Multi-book scanning. "KeyOdds scans Betfair, Fonbet, bet365, Pinnacle, 1xBet and other bookmakers in real time." The home page says "8+ bookmakers tracked"; its menu links to scanner pages for about 180 bookmakers, exchanges and prediction markets, Kalshi and Polymarket among them. "Running since 2017."
  • Betfair money way. Live and pre-match scanners for football, tennis and basketball, and email notifications filtered by odds range, matched volume (€) and percentage of the market, by bet type.
  • Fonbet "high volume bet". Its guide explains that an outcome turning grey on Fonbet means someone bet more than 90% of the maximum. The scanner counts those events; Telegram notifications filter by count, blocks, odds range and sport.
  • A Pinnacle scanner. The page is titled "Live PINNACLE Odds Scanner". Its ST column counts "how many times odd was placed with max availible amount"; its BL column counts how many times the whole event was blocked. Filters: ST range, BL range, odds range and about 20 sports.
  • Other pages. bet365 dropping odds, eFootball steam moves, a basketball "most dropped odds" page and tips pages; the soccer tips page's latest month listed is July 2022.
  • Positioning. "We don't sell picks." Its user agreement says the service also "provides surebets" and that users must be 18 or over.

Why look for a KeyOdds alternative?

KeyOdds covers a lot of ground for the price of a month. People who bet mainly on Pinnacle moves look elsewhere for four reasons, all from its own pages:

  • The Pinnacle scanner is a live scanner with counts. It counts max-amount bets and blocks per event. The pages we read do not describe a grade for each move, or labels for what Pinnacle did with the price and the limit before the start.
  • Money way is not the same signal as a sharp price. Matched volume on an exchange shows where money traded, not who traded it or at what fair price. It is a different question from "did Pinnacle move?"
  • Many scanners, one interface for each. Betfair, Fonbet, Pinnacle and the rest have their own pages and their own notification settings.
  • No fair price described. The pages we read do not mention a devig method or a no-vig price next to each line.

When is KeyOdds the better choice?

  • You read Betfair money way. Volume and percentage per selection, with email alerts, is a feature we do not offer.
  • You bet Fonbet or many regional books. Its scanners cover books we do not track.
  • You want to try for an hour or a day. $3.99 or $7.47 with no renewal is a small first step.
  • You want one pass for many signals. Drops, money way and steam across books in one subscription.

When is Pinnacle Terminal the better choice?

  • You want each Pinnacle move graded, not only counted. Every pre-match move gets a 0–10 grade and a label: Big move (the odds dropped and Pinnacle closed the market), Sharp drop (about 20% or more below the recent high), Limit-backed (the odds dropped and Pinnacle raised the limit, a very confident move), Downtrend, Rebound (the odds returning towards the opener) and Standard. See understanding move grades.
  • You want a fair price next to the move. Each line shows Pinnacle's no-vig price, Power devig by default; see devig methods.
  • You bet live football drops. Live in-play drops are shown as they happen, filtered by goal and score context. They are not graded.
  • You bet basketball lines. The Basketball lines tab catches 3-point jumps in a main spread or total in under 2 minutes, with a lock icon when Pinnacle has moved the line but does not offer the market yet.
  • You want your rules in your own bot. Each user gets a private Telegram bot with their own filters; see Telegram alerts.

Money way or Pinnacle drop: which signal is which?

Money way counts money that has been matched on an exchange. A large share on one selection says the selection traded a lot; it does not say the price was wrong before, or who was on the other side. A Pinnacle drop is a price decision by a bookmaker that takes large bets from winning players: when Pinnacle shortens a price and raises the limit at the same time, it is telling you it is comfortable taking more money at the new, lower number. The two can agree. When they do not, the Pinnacle price is the one you can compare directly with your bookmaker's price. More on reading both in how to track sharp money and steam moves.

A real example: blocks and a rising limit

From Pinnacle Terminal on 28 October 2026, Madrid time (CET). ITF Men Norman, first round, Sean Daryabeigi v Luciano Emanuel Ambrogi, handicap Daryabeigi −1.5.

  • From 07:36 the price fell from 3.38 to 2.84 and Pinnacle locked the market. The terminal labelled it Big move.
  • By 09:37 the side panel read "Down 45% from its 07:36 high (41 changes) · limit $50 → $150".
  • At 09:37:37 the line was 2.24, with a fair price of 2.437, on a $150 limit.

A count of blocks tells you Pinnacle closed this market. The label puts that next to the size of the fall and the limit change on one line: the price dropped, Pinnacle stopped taking bets during the fall, and it tripled the limit only once it was comfortable with the new number. Any bookmaker paying more than 2.437 at 09:37 was above Pinnacle's fair line: at 2.60, for example (an illustrative price, not one we recorded), 2.60 ÷ 2.437 − 1 ≈ +6.7% on paper. Whether you bet a $150-limit market is your call; see low-limit odds moves, Pinnacle limits explained and Pinnacle closed markets. Check any price with the odds drop calculator and the EV calculator.

Is KeyOdds worth it?

For someone who reads exchange volume or bets Fonbet, a day pass is a cheap way to find out. For Pinnacle drops alone, compare the fee with your turnover. At an average edge of 3%, about $3,330 a month of turnover covers the KeyOdds month (99.99 ÷ 0.03) and about €2,970 covers Pinnacle Terminal (89 ÷ 0.03). These are arithmetic, not forecasts. The better test is which tool leaves you with more bets you can place above the fair price at your bookmakers; measure that with closing line value. Other drop tools are compared in best dropping odds software and in Oddspedia dropping odds alternative.

How Pinnacle Terminal handles this

KeyOdds counts signals across many scanners; Pinnacle Terminal reads one book, Pinnacle, in more depth. Where KeyOdds' Pinnacle scanner counts max-stake bets (ST) and blocks (BL), the terminal turns the same kinds of event into a label on each pre-match move, graded 0–10: a block during a fall is a Big move, a raised limit during a fall is Limit-backed, and a fall of about 20% or more from the recent high is a Sharp drop; Downtrend, Rebound (back towards the opener) and Standard cover the rest. The window is 2 minutes by default and adjustable. Live in-play football drops are shown and filtered, without a grade; the Basketball lines tab flags 3+ point moves on a main spread or total in under 2 minutes, with a lock icon when Pinnacle has moved but not reopened the market. Telegram alerts follow each user's own filters, prices come with a fair value (Power devig by default), and the CLV tracker scores logged bets. There is no Betfair money way, no multi-bookmaker scanner and no line history; it does not take bets and is not affiliated with Pinnacle. Details on Pinnacle dropping odds.
